In 2017, we co-founded Sold Out, in partnership with Kiane Von Mueffling. Sold Out is a new fashion line that is designed in NYC, and manufactured in LA. The business transcends fashion’s traditional retail cycle: items are not delivered by season, but rather the timing for new collections is determined in collaboration with our consumer. Only limited edition runs are produced and, true to the brand’s name, the first collection was sold out in a matter of weeks. The business became profitable within two months, fueled by a strong social presence, the organic adoption of celebrity influencers Brooke Shields and Kelly Ripa, and an exclusive feature in InStyle magazine.
