Global Brand Strategy
Sephora is a global brand that operates across international regions and markets, including Europe, Asia and North America. Sephora’s global leadership invited Mrs&Mr to articulate and bring to life the a relevant and differentiated global brand positioning that unifies Sephora under one brand idea and story, creating a purpose driven and inspirational northstar that transcends cultures. The global positioning was brought to life through visual storytelling, and a global brand video that galvanized the organization around a shared sense of purpose, and identity.
Clean Strategy
Sephora has always been recognized as one of the most innovative and daring innovators in retail. As Sephora Collection (Sephora’s branded house of beauty and skincare products) sought to pioneer the Clean Beauty space, Mrs&Mr was invited by to lead the development of its Clean Beauty strategy - we unearthed the insights and created the foundational strategy that went on to inform Sephora Clean product development, portfolio architecture and branding.
Social Strategy
Sephora is not only a retailer, but a rich community of beauty lovers. At Sephora, social media goes beyond a ‘marketing’ channel designed to ‘engage’ its community - and rather it harnesses the power of storytelling and shared experiences across its community, while providing a wholistic, integrated customer experience for all its shoppers. Mrs&Mr developed the Social Strategy and Creative Direction guidelines across Sephora’s multiple social channels.
Best Skin Ever
Sephora Collection is the in-house brand that provides high quality, professional grade beauty tools, at an accessible price. Mrs&Mr developed the global naming and Creative Direction to inform the branding for the global launch of its new foundation line: Best Skin Ever. As Allure Magazine stated, this is the one foundation that lives up to its name.
Big By Definition
Sephora Collection houses a select number of franchise brands, that are sold across the world under one global name. Mrs&Mr led the global naming process and provided Creative Direction to inform the global launch of a new mascara that promises fuller looking, well designed lashes: Big by Definition.
Pro Brushes
Sephora Collection is the in-house brand that provides high quality, professional grade beauty tools, at an accessible price. We were invited as the Creative Agency to conceive, develop and produce the visual world for one of its new product lines: Sephora Pro Brushes. The system was used across multiple channels: In-store, packaging, point of purchase, social, digital and outdoor advertising.
